“If you could be a contestant on any game show, which would you like to be on?”
This question is a no brainer, I would love to be on THE PRICE IS RIGHT!
I’ve been watching The Price is Right since as long as I can remember. In fact this show served as my babysitter during most of my adolescent summers. Of course, the show is not as great with Drew Carey as the host, but its hard to follow in the footsteps of a game show legend like Bob Barker. In fact, I haven’t watched but a few times with Drew as the new host what can I say, I’m old school (or have a problem dealing with change).
I think it would be awesome just to be in the audience, but I have thought many a times about my glory in the sun. If I was called on down to be the next contestant on The Price is Right (and yes, I would be that person that goes bananas and high fives/hugs everyone on the way down!), I would hope to play 1 of 3 of the favorite games. First, Plinko, enough said, awesome game. The second would be The Golden Road (I watched the show when the guy won the RV playing this game, won over $100k, it was amazing!). Both those games are not usually played (I’m a realist with a backup), so my third would be the Cliff Hangers game. I enjoy the little climber dude and the yodeling.
I’m such a fan (nerd) of The Price is Right, that I purchased this awesome daily flip calendar.
(Life is very random, I just happened to purchase this calendar today (I was waiting till it was 75%) and then I randomly pick this question out of my book, weird!)
So glad i’s Thursday, the week is almost over! Also, only 10 more days till the marathon. I’m very nervous, hoping I get more excited than nervous, but at the moment the nerves are winning.
Slowly updating my pictures to flickr, I’m also a flickr pro member now. I’ve been meaning to upgrade and then the warning that I can only see 200 pics at a time really sealed the deal for me. I love the site and its great back up storage for my pics. I’m slowly getting back into photography, it’s a great way to remember what’s going on in life, without having to actually use memory space in the brain. Leaves plenty of room for useless knowledge. Speaking of which….
“If you could be the producer of any television show, what would it be?”
Hmmm, do you go with a sitcom or maybe even a game show? Tough choice. Ultimately, I based my decision on what would be a great television show to work on, have a crack at the writing table to throw in an idea or two, a show you would enjoy coming to work everyday or putting in really long hours (does that exist in hollywood?). So it would have to be….Seinfeld. I think of that show at least once a week, if I’m not thinking about it, I’m referring to in my everyday conversation as if that is totally normal. Everything comes back to Seinfeld. Eating pretzels, Seinfeld. Buying a suit, Seinfeld. Soup, Seinfeld. Running a race, Seinfeld. I’m not sure what life would be like without Seinfeld. And to be a writer on the show, easy job, all your material is right in front of you, everyday. And the actors are all so hilarious, just working around them must be funny. One of the greatest shows ever! And no, I don’t have the complete box set on DVD, and yes, that would be an excellent X-mas gift. 🙂
…in 1967 Gilligan’s Island aired its last episode…weird.
Hi! My trip to Seattle was great! I had a blast hanging out with my family. I had a great time celebrating my birthday with my family and Dave. My sister got hitched and it was an amazing wedding!
I have some great pictures of this past weekend and will update my flickr asap. Update will also include all summer pictures as I’ve totally fallen behind on my updating. I’m kind of a freak with the photos and like to make folders and name all the pictures, which isn’t exactly super fun to do, which is why it has fallen behind. I’ve moved this task to the top of my “to do” list.
I’ve been inspired by other blogs that I follow to update more often and one way of doing that is a weekly post like “when I’m old wednesday”. I have this great book titled “If…” and its full of all kinds of random questions to ponder. Not sure what day of the week I will do it yet, but it should be fun. I’m sure my answers will change as time passes to some of these questions, but I’m sure it will be a riot to check them out when I’m 64.
Well, I’m off to another wedding this weekend, in Baltimore. The rest of the weekend will likely be low key, running for a really long time and of course, working on my pictures!
